Trash Rate Increase
The City of Dumas is increasing the solid waste fee schedule. Residential rates are increasing by $8.15/month inside the city and $13.78 outside city limits. Commercial rates will be increasing as well. This is to pay for the bond issue for the new landfill and will be effective the first bill in December.
Did you know?
That the City is building a new Landfill?  The new landfill is located east of town on Keith Road.  Crews are hard at work and it should be up and running sometime in March 2012.  For your convenience, you can still bring your drop off items to the landfill on South Maddox.
